Catalyst Fiber Workshop is a shared fiber arts studio with equipment and space for weaving, sewing, fiber processing, basketry, handwork projects, and small scale natural dyeing.

The studio is a charming barn-like two-story building, approximately 1,400 sq ft with lots of natural light and a cozy, grounded atmosphere. It’s 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, NC and conveniently located right off Hwy 74 in the Fairview community.

• Downstairs has 6 floor looms, shared weaving tools, a robust textile reference library, shared work space, and a small retail/gallery area.

• Upstairs, there is a sewing room and fiber processing equipment. This is a great space for workshops.

• There’s a small kitchen with a fridge, stove, and microwave. There’s seating inside and a patio table outside for breaks and communal gatherings.
