Beginning Floor Loom Weaving
Are you ready to try your hand at weaving? In this introductory floor loom workshop, you will learn how to wind a warp, warp the loom from back to front, and explore tabby and twill weave structures. We’ll discuss tools, pattern drafts, project planning and reference materials that will help you in future projects.

Workshop: Indigo + Shibori Dyeing
Together, we will learn how the precious blue pigment is extracted from indigo leaves and discuss the many ways cultures around the world have cultivated and used their native indigo plants. Participants will also explore a variety of traditional shibori resist techniques, creating a collection of hand-dyed fabric samples to use in future creative projects while beginning their own indigo journey.
This workshop is designed for beginners as well as anyone looking to deepen their understanding of indigo dyeing.
