Twining is a versatile weaving technique that is rooted in ancient history and can be found in craft traditions the world over. In this workshop, we'll make a twined vessel using a variety of natural materials including reed, kudzu and plants from the garden.
This is an introductory class and is well suited for folks who are new to basketmaking or for folks who are interested in how to incorporate locally available plants into their current basket practice.
