Workshop: long stitch bookbinding

January is a time to regroup and make some plans for the upcoming season. It's a time when creative ideas can take shape. What better way to collect them than in a journal or sketchbook that you make yourself.

In this workshop, we will use cloth to make the book cover, prepare pages out of large sheets of paper and sewn it all together using the long stitch technique. Long stitch books have exposed stitching on their spines which adds a bit of color and character to this handmade book.

This class is great for beginners and those with previous bookbinding experience.
